There are soooo many books claiming to teach us how to change, so how is this one different? Well, there’s only one way to find out! Let’s get together and talk about it 😎.
Join us in May to discuss ‘How to Change: The Science of Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be’ by behaviour change expert and Choiceology podcast host Katy Milkman (with a foreward by ‘Grit’ author Angela Duckworth). Milkman is no slouch. She’s not a self-help ‘guru’. She’s an award-winning professor endorsed by some of our book club favourites (e.g. Adam Grant) who really knows her stuff.

[Note: Message me to attend in person, as space is limited! Otherwise, join us on Zoom 🙂]
This meeting will be facilitated by a full-time Life Coach (yours truly) and former university educator with over a decade of international experience in facilitating discussions across groups from various cultural backgrounds and beliefs. We value inclusivity 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🖤💛❤️✊🏽 and insist on respectful discussion. We are not a ‘positive vibes only’ crew. We invite you to bring your WHOLE self to the discussion! Wanna suss me out ahead of time to see if we’ll ‘gel’? Then feel free to have a snoop here ☺:

From the book jacket:
Award-winning Wharton Professor Katy Milkman, one of the world’s finest behavioural scientists, sets out proven strategies for mastering positive change and habits in this fascinating book. Singling out the common barriers to change, including impulsivity, procrastination and forgetfulness, Milkman explains why human nature frequently interferes with the best of intentions, and how adopting tailored, evidence-based strategies is the key to effecting lasting, positive behaviours.
Whether you’re looking for a fresh start yourself or are a manager, coach or teacher supporting others, Milkman’s compelling blueprint for change will help you achieve even the toughest of personal and professional goals – faster and more efficiently than you can imagine.

At this meetup, we will discuss Milkman’s insights on what it takes to make behaviour changes from a scientific perspective. Love the book? Hate the book? No time to read the book? You’re all welcome! Message me if you’d like to attend in person, as space is limited. But remember, you can always join us on Zoom as well 😊.
